The Right to Prenatal Care

This brochure educates communities about rights related to prenatal care, including the right to information (about the frequency and timing of prenatal visits, the patient’s health and lab results, concerning signs/symptoms) and the right to essential services and medicines (screening for TB, STIs and cancer; vaccine to prevent neonatal tetanus; prevention of malaria and anemia; HIV testing, prevention and treatment). The brochure also provides guidance on how to register concerns or complaints.
